City and Architectural > Back in Time

For some time I had an idea to shoot a Victorian style image, so roughly between the year 1800 till 1900. It was hard to find a location that had the proper settings. To my surprise I found it so close by.......yes in my hometown Dordrecht. I shot some images in the evening of the place but wasn't satisfied yet, there was too much color in it which I found not suited for what I had in mind. The next day I returned and waited beyond blue hour which would give more neutral tones. Because of the yellow streetlights and light from within the houses the picture as a whole got that "ancient" look and that was exactly what I was aiming for. Eventually I settled for this result and I am quite pleased with it. I hope you'll enjoy the image as much as I did creating it question
